I couldn't agree more. Reality is very hard for those with illegal alien friends and family in this country. Then for some it's all about racial identity.

I have to side with amc760 here: if even one of his parents was here legally------then he is no Anchor Baby, period.

True, on a technicality.

Art history major maybe?

Please point to anywhere that shows I am "scared" of anything besides higher taxes and having to support "system leechers?" Don't conflate YOUR fear of illegal immigration crackdowns threatening your second-gen barrio superstar lifestyle with anything I'VE written this evening, Ok?

It shields me from having "Latinos" such as yourself pretend like everyone is SCEEEERED of their "brownness" and Spanish!! Ai yai yai! (Because I'll tell ya what, most of what passes as "Spanish" around my neck of the woods is atrocious).

And yet you're going to have a lot further to go due to that pesky "reading comprehension" problem.

It's actually my second home, but nice try schnookems.

Besides, we don't really have too many Mexicans around here. They're far outnumbered by others of Latino decent. But such is your problem, I suppose, always thinking everything is about you or your "people."

Schnookems?!? 2nd Generation Barrio superstar lifestyle? What??

Am I gonna be this much of a d-bag when I graduate??

Better or stronger in what way BKK?
We are allowing ourselves to become dependant upon an illegal work force. We are loosing skills and trades? This might be okay if we were still the uncontested leaders of technology but we aren't. Our education system is less than productive and no realistic plans in sight to fix it. Throwing money at any problem is no solution without a solid plan that incluses follow through, followup, and plans to fix the plan if it isn't working.
No I can't agree with you on this one. We are moving towards stagnation.

We are a lot better off than we were 40 years ago. Immigration aside, even you would have to agree with this. I don't think you'd be wanting to make any trips back to the 50s or 60s.

I'd go back to the 50's or 60's in a heartbeat! Why not?
