Blacknight, try living in a place ravaged and destroyed by illegal immigration.

I'm from Corpus Christi, TX and I know how badly they can destroy a beautiful city.

Thanks for that. It is a surreal thing to witness, and has gone from being 'nice' to 'laughable' to really frightening. PC has actually altered our ability to communicate, by changing the very meaning of the words and phrases we use, and by removing all judgement and evalutation from life. No one is 'good' or 'bad'....no idea or value is any more worthwhile than any other. PC quite literally may someday kill us.

We are a huge, dynamic society, and we won't be brought down overnight. So far we have the 'muscle' and the affluence to withstand many types of assault. We've always had the room and the capacity to carry a few 'primitives' along. The turning point will come (it may have already begun) when the "primitives' begin to assert themselves and begin to demand we acquiesce to THEM....and when "we" (society) begin to listen to them, give them credence, and a respect they don't deserve....and that they'd never get elsewhere. If we can let them 'guilt' us, we're already on the way to losing the 'contest'.

Nobody can 'bring us down' by direct confrontation...but when they can get us to simply step aside, and to participate willingly in bringing OURSELVES down, the job may not be that diffricult at all. And that's what I see happening today. It will take a few years, but not NEARLY as long as it took to 'build it all up'.

Does ANYONE honestly believe we're the same nation we were 30 or 40 years ago? I don't see how.

Oh, what's that story about the frog who was placed in water, and sat there while it slowly got hotter and hotter and ...... I think that's Britain now, and us shortly.

macmeal, I fear as sirron does, that this whole process has already begun, and for many decades now.

Once again macmeal, great post.

You may be correct with the 'frog/boiling water' concept------just that you may have gotten it backwards.

Many illegals here in the USA flat became delusional about being granted amnesty------and, the enforcement hammer is now coming down on 'em.

Too; with the declining economy-----many illegals are self deporting as we speak

God is not using America and Britain as a measuring stick for when the world will end.
But illegal aliens primarily from Mexico are doing their best to excelerate the process of obliterating all that's good about America.

Bingo!

Illegal sympathizers are usually of two stripes:

Those so far removed from the problem they can pontificate about the humanitarian aspects of the problem....and those that share a culturally sympathetic connection and think the change from solid middle class neighborhood to barrio full of flop houses is "normal" or indeed, preferable, to gringo or African American neighborhoods.

How are you not far removed from the problem where you cant pontificate about the humanitarian aspects of the problem?

And at least out in LA(which I guess is what you are referring to), the African-American neighborhoods weren't all that preferable before LATINOS(not necessarily illegals) moved in.

I'm sorry, the double negative is throwing me off. What are you asking?

I think you've missed the forest for the trees.
