Put a wall up and deport all of their criminals back to the. STOP misusing the Constitution and allowing their damn kids be U.S. citizens. They aren't and anybody that says they are are completely ignorant of our Constitution and what it says and has no idea to comprehend the written word.

Where on that link did it say anyone's trying to fix Mexico? It looks like this project has support from local municipalities because of the business opportunities afforded on both sides of the border. It may even have *gasp* private funding involved, but they haven't finished the webpage so we don't know yet.

It wasn't the link, it was YOUR comments.

The answer to developing the Mexican economy is of course going to involve an abundance of trade with the US. And transportation links are going to be involved in that process.

Right.
But if you'd look in the quoted section of those comments and actually clicked on the previously sent link, you'd see that this was in reference to another poster's critique on improving cross-trade infrastructure between the US and Mexico which is funded by local municipalities and private companies due to the opportunity of economic development.
This was a road that was being built because of economic opportunity, not federal tax dollars.
THe critique of that road was that it would presumably bring more immigrants up. However, we should look at raods like this as positive because it develops the Mexican economy.

Thank you so much. I am not as good at putting words together as a couple like AZBear and another I can't think of right now, but I try to get my point across.

Using Spain as a proxy for Mexico: the former nation had to 'clean up its own backyard' before it was handed the keys to the kingdom (EU, Euro, Schengen Agreement).

If Spain can do it; why not Mexico? Both nations follow Hispanic culture. Admittedly; today's Spain is becoming more and more Scandinavian in outlook but still..................

I still say it is because they don't want to, Mexico that is. I mean why try when our government is more than willing to keep handing money over to them to continue their graft and all?
