Your point being? Most countries started that way-----------it is called Darwinism.

And; sometimes the weaker cultures are subjugated by the stronger ones via education, freedom, etc................not just the force of arms.

It's a little thing called "sovereignty." You know, most countries practice it. Strangely enough, the only country on Earth that is constantly castigated and disparaged for attempting to enforce theirs is the United States.

I have made this point frequently on this forum, NO CIVILIZATION IN EXISTENCE TODAY owes its existence to its peaceful tendencies toward co-existence with its neighbors. Nearly all have been conquered, nearly all have been conquerors, including Native Americans. The modern day U.S. was no Utopia before Europeans showed up, believe me.

We are a violent species, we fight for resources, we fight over land, we fight over dogmatic differences, the list goes on and on.

If you want to focus on the unfairness of it all, why don't you concentrate on the present rather than 200 years in the past? Darfur, Rwanda, and the Sudan spring to mind.

We dont exclude anyone . Its not much to ask that we know who is here we dont want criminals ,drugs POURING in,etc

Is that unreasonable ?
Are we bad people for wanting law and order not to mention tired of using OUR tax money for non citizens while neglecting our citizens.

This makes us bad people?

Mexico likes to say we took CA from them but they took it from the Indians.

So if we give CA to Mexico will they give it to the Indian tribe which was dominant in CA?

Hamilton County needs to take a few lessons from Jones on illegal immigrants. Shouldn't be to hard to find an illegal in a wheelchair.

They can easily return back to Mexico by car, truck, etc

Absolutely! However, that doesn't support their illegal alien/open borders agenda.

The nursing-home workers had to be complete idiots to allow that to happen.
All the "English Only" signs in redneck dives and the b*tchin' and moanin' about having to take an extra fraction of a second to press the appropriate "menu" button for instructions in our native language never fail to annoy the "bodily secretions" outta me. But this whole episode is beyond the pale. If somebody commits a criminal act, and they're known to have no business being in the US, grant them their right to a speedy trial (which as a non-citizen they may not even have), then give 'em a one-way ticket out.
Simon Leis has a common trait with other right-wing nut jobs like Wallace, Thurmond, and Helms. They take way too long to reach the end of their lives. An appreciable amount of Cincinnati's well-deserved and universal reputation for being a backazzwards and reactionary city can be credited to him. I'd love to see Leslie Isaiah Gaines take over his position.
But, back on topic, who here seriously believes that when they catch this uninvited "visitor" he'll be brought to trial and found guilty and then promptly escorted to the border?
To set the record straight the nursing home was told by the county that he was free to go. He had a guard up until the day before he left. The nursing home was told the next day that he was free to leave. Then he never showed up for court. Imagine that.

Ask that same question of the Aztec Indians prior to 1492 when they captured members of weaker indigenous tribes in what is now Mexico then cut their still beating hearts out.

The bottom line is that the American Indians were not strong enough to keep the Hispanics then the Anglos out.

Let that serve as a warning that History could repeat itself: difference is that us Americans (of all races/ethnicities) could be the 'new' Indians and Mexico, etc. the 'new' settlers. Right now we as a people are still strong enough to prevent that.

Becuase, Mexico is strong enough to take down a superpower. Quoted for justice.
