An apparent illegal immigrant is behind bars, accused of trying to kidnap a Macon County girl.

Nine year old Alex Fullbright was in her yard early Monday morning when she says 36 year old Olivar Roblero grabbed her. "He said I was his love and he was going to get me one way or another," Alex Fullbright says. The child's mother says it's not the first time he's made threatening comments. Angela Fullbright says Roblero, who lived nearby, had previously asked her how much he could "buy" the girl for.

Roblero is charged with attempted kidnapping and misdemeanor assault. He told deputies he is from Mexico and in the country illegally. Roblero is being held in Macon County before he's turned over to immigration enforcement.

Question -- where this guy is from, is this kind of thing considered wrong or illegal?

The problem is, many of these people are quite ignorant, they have no clue the culture and laws are different in this country. It's just their way of life where they are from, it doesn't occur to them that it's different here.

This is why uncontrolled immigration is so bad, we're keeping out many would-be immigrants who could adapt and understand our way of life and giving preference to those who will just work for extremely low wages.

Agreed. Hopefully in prison he will become some big guy's involuntary girlfriend and have everything forcibly done to him that he wanted to do to that young girl.

Remember folks-our country would fall apart without illegal aliens.

Well, at least we are not "honoring" their so-called "culture" (if this is what is going on). Usually, we let people do anything because we want to respect their culture, instead of our own. Makes me ill.
