Exactly! Plus all the subsequent stunts they've pulled like the recent thread about them not getting unemployment just adds fuel to the fire that's raging against them.

They get a lot of services that not only AREN'T they entitled to but some Americans can't get and still they aren't happy. Well too bad!

Educating the public helps "fix the problem", and yes, doing so through a forum counts.

More writing to political representatives would be helpful, more writing to the mainstream news media could make a difference too. Too often, the minority viewpoint in an issue is most vocal. Rest assured than LULAC is organized; those opposing EBT for illegals need to be organized as well, check out the FAIR organization to start.

No need to leave the computer for those who choose not to--the pen being mightier than the sword and all.
Few years ago the CA governor said the border should be sealed, he also visited a mall near los angeles and was shocked and said it was just like being in Mexico and he scolded them about that rightfully, but since then the pro illegal groups must have got to him. He nor another could begin to keep a balanced state budget with the educational cost of illegal kids alone, per year.

It's pretty dissappointing how Schwarzenegger sold out too.. Especially AFTER the recall of Gray Davis who betrayed the will of voters by not challenging the activist judge that struck down Voter Approved Prop 187..
