Regardless of the outcome, it's going to drag us through the courts, so that legal hurdle is the first battle on this front.

You say vigilante, I say volunteer fire department. A posse is the same thing, except a posse is deputized. So let each county Sheriff deputize us.

I would have to refute John McCain on this . . we, the people, are fully capable of solving this problem, and if he's not going to be part of the solution, he needs to get the hell out of the way.

Ever watch that movie "Untouchables", scene with Sean Connery, "If they bring a knife to a fight, you bring a gun . . if they put one of us in the hospital, you put them in the grave." It's a classic line because that's the way people really think . . and why a volunteer fire department works. You put out the fire.

I don't agree with attempting to instill fear in people, nor see any logic in the appeasment of invaders. Far worse outcomes are probable when cowards are given their reign.

Canada, eh?

Agreed. This is our country. There are groups sprouting up all over the internet daily. Many are joining forces. Those here illegally will soon find out the true meaning of power in numbers when you are an American exercising the rights you are entitled to BY LAW.

Let me tell you EXACTLY how I feel about the situation, and then you can go on about your word games with the rest of the board.

I've been paying the price for illegal immigration for the last 15 years. I've watched my wages fall and my work dry up so that criminal employers can line their pockets by exploiting a desperate and illegal workforce. I've been forced to take food stamps in order to feed my family, and watched as illegal alien mothers lined up to collect them in the names of their little anchor babies.

I opened and ran a landscaping business for several years until my competitors found out about the hordes of cheap laborers hanging out at the local Home Depot, and replaced their legal American workers with those illegal scabs. Ultimately I was put out of that business as I was unwilling to break the law by utilizing that same illegal workforce.

I went to the hospital once with chest pains and numbness in my arm from high blood pressure, and was told that without insurance there was nothing they could do for me except refer me to a clinic that wouldn't see me for another 2 weeks. I was told by the admitting nurse that had I been an illegal alien they would have seen me right away.

I have had friends and family assaulted by gangs of illegal aliens while exercising their 1st Amendment rights to free speech. My car was vandalized by illegal aliens because I dared have a bumper sticker that said "Hire American workers". I've been cussed at, spat at and harassed because I wear a US Border Patrol baseball cap.

I'll tell you this, blacknight. I'm one of those American citizens who's literally riding the ragged edge because of the incessant and ever-increasing attacks and demands of people with no legal right to even be here. I carry a loaded weapon everywhere I go now, because I refuse to be a victim of these thugs ANY LONGER. Believe me, it won't bother me a bit to defend myself with deadly force should that need arise, and I won't lose a minute's sleep over it.

There are millions more JUST LIKE ME, and some of them are a lot less reasonable than I am.

An old adage I read should serve as good advice to you and your illegal cohorts.

"If you want to kick a tiger in his ass, you'd better have a plan for dealing with his teeth."
Wow Guy I am heart broken and outraged at what is happening to you and your family. I'm so sorry to hear what you are having to put up with to support your family. My prayers will be with you and your family daily. Hold on my friend, change is coming.

Thanks, I appreciate the prayers. God is good to me, and I'll survive.

So which is it? you condone violence but you justify it?

This discussion should not even be taking place. No American should be driven to the point of such anger because the very illegals whose antics and in our face behavior infuriates responsible citizens should not be here.

The bottom line is that these people are in the US illegally and they need to get out. Justify the presence of millions of people, mainly from SOB in the US in violation of our immigration laws, blacknight. It does not matter that the gringo stole their land, they did not cross the border the border crossed them, they only want a better life for their family, they are here to do the jobs Americans won't do, they're brown and they're in town, our country would collapse without them of any other nonsense they spew. They are trespassers. They need to leave. I don't care if they have been here a long time, their anchors are 'citizens', they don't know spanish, etc., etc. I don't care if they paid $37.92 in taxes in 2007. They need to be returned to their homelands. This should have been done decades ago. Cut off the jobs, cut off the benefits and once they see the gravy train has come to a halt and their presence is not appreciated, they will leave. They need to go.

I see you had no problem referencing a snippet from my post in a futile attempt to support your assertion that I am advocating violence. Yet, you failed to respond to my question from the same post. I ask again……how do you pro-illegals have such unwavering compassion and justification for all illegal alien behavior, yet none for legal citizens?

Your post exemplifies precisely why it is so difficult to engage in meaningful discourse with many pro-illegals. With nothing substantive to offer in support of your pro-lawlessness stance, you resort to hyperbole.

Clearly, I am neither condoning nor justifying violence. Apparently you don’t realize it is quite possible to ‘understand’ behavior without justifying or condoning said behavior. What do you think psychiatrists, psychologists, and sociologists do? I’ll answer that for you. In a nutshell……they observe, analyze, measure, and manipulate behavior to gain a better “understanding” of the dynamics of individual and group social interaction.

You are under the false impression that by virtue of my ability to understand the ‘why’ of human behavior, I must also endorse said behavior. I may “understand” why a boy raised by an overtly promiscuous mother may have a greater tendency to lack respect for, or ‘hate’ women in general. Does that mean I condone his misogyny? Of course not. I may also “understand” why this particular mother, as a victim of childhood sexual abuse, eventually became promiscuous. Again, I can “understand” without condoning.

Hopefully, you now “understand” the difference between understanding behavior, and condoning or justifying behavior.

Benicar. As APJ stated above.

So why would they have seen an illegal immigrant right away but not you an American citizen?

black,

The poster already explained that. What, you don't believe in the double standard? Do you need yet more demonstrations?
