Are you ready for another 135 million people?

According to the U.S. census the U.S. will add another 135 million people by the year 2050. We now have a population of over 304 million, but that number will grow to 439 million by 2050. What is causing this huge growth you may ask?

Immigration (both legal and illegal). In fact the census predicts an increase in both legal and illegal immigration in the future. Also, most of the children that will be born in America will be the off spring of recent immigrants.

I guess we will all soon know what it is like to live in China.

That seems to be the goal. Have us compete with China -- everyone working for very low wages, working for the benefit of the government only.

Default You might be right.

Not only will we be reduced to being economic wage slaves, but we will be ruled by the corporate elite in much the same way the present "Communist" Chinese government rules over the Chinese people.

Say good-bye to our freedoms and rights.

Default Oh yes, please bring on the sweat shops!

Impossible you say. But we have already begun the necessary steps in that direction. First, ship off as many jobs as we can, especially in the industrial fields.

Step two, blame the millions of out of work citizens for the money problems plaguing our Union. You aren't spending enough of that money you don't have.

Step 3, continue to overburden the already struggling American citizen with taxes and high prices for all consumer items and services.

Step 4, once the populace is sufficiently destitute and desperate, offer up a government approved plan for saving the Union, complete with work for food programs and debter prisons.

Of course step 4 is for the moment only hypothetical, but steps 1-3 are already coming to fruition. The current track of our futures looks grim to say the least. But there is a silver lining behind this curtain of despair.

And that is the spirit of the American people. We can survive and be strong again if we will merely get together behind a common banner. And that banner is the renewal of the fair and simple life we all desire and deserve. We can take it all back my friends. We can take it back!

Most Native born Americans already do have only one child or none. Some people have two, but how many people do you know who are native born Americans and have more than two kids?

The cause of this huge population increase is coming from immigration and the children of immigrants. Immigrants tend to have more kids.

If it were not for immigration the population of the U.S. would have already stabilized around 240 million. Think about that the next time you are stuck in traffic or the next time you see rural land being "developed" for more housing.

Or have to make a reservation 3 months in advance just to get a camping site.

Which is why many of have said that the country is full no matter what the idiots say when they say there is still a one inch strip of land that doesn't have a person residing on it.

No I am not ready for that many people. Just look at the past 40 years-we gained 100 million people. If it weren't for immigration-both legal and illegal, we would have LOST population-which looking at the way our country is now would have been fine with me. 100 million people in 40 years is way too much for any country to handle. I don't care if they all come legally, assimilate and want to be Americans-it is still too much. No wonder our country is in the mess it is.
