Sheriff Joe holds sway over Maricopa County only...........which excludes Tucson (Pima County) unfortunately.

If I compiled a list of things Tucson needs, more police corruption would be near the bottom. That outlaw Joe and his goons are a menace to civilized society.
Instead of being "tough" on actual crime, they're busy hassling minorities, throwing puppies into burning houses, tampering with elections, tampering with evidence, and putting non-violent "criminals" that haven't even seen a trial into human rights violating prison camps that serve only ****ty food unfit for human consumption and food from vendors priced at exorbitant prices owned by Joe's family.
I could understand people accepting this if crime was going down, but in all important measures serious crime is on the rise in Maricopa county and Sheriff Joe's brand of justice is clearly not working at all.

And that 'outlaw' Joe keeps getting reelected here in Maricopa County.

Yep, which is why no matter how dumb us Tucsonans get, the world simply sighs and says "well, at least they aren't Phoenicians".

People who don't drive, let alone drive DUI.
People who don't get involved with the drug trade.
People who don't try to commit heavy fraud
From what I've read the U.S. Federal government focuses on deporting the "bad" illegals. Any other illegals caught in the attempt to get targeted illegals are "collaterals."

I don't know if I'm reading you correctly or not....but one of my wife's good friends was driving from Va (her husband has been in the Air Force since he graduated from college) up to NJ for a visit with her family. She had her 3 little boys in the car with her. In Delaware, in the middle of the afternoon, got broadsided by a drunk driver. The drunk driver got out of the car and started to high-tail it down Rt. 13. Thanks to a few people who had witnessed the accident and had pulled over to either help or give a statement to the police tackled the guy. Illegal Mexican immigrant. Not his first DUI either...his THIRD.
He was arrested and taken to jail. To make a long story short, the judge let him go after 2 or 3 nights in jail and of course he didn't show up for court. He had no license, no insurance and the car belonged to a "friend of his" who didn't have insurance on the car and played the "I never told him he could drive it" card.
So no, not all the bad ones, even when caught three times, get any attention at all.

In that case the judge is stupid for being too lenient on DUI offenders. DUI offenders, no matter what legal status, should be forced into harsh labor.
Oh why, oh why, oh why do people think it is okay to be lenient on DUI offenses?
