What makes me the saddest about this entire situation? The Californians that were sounding the alarm 20 years ago were silenced and the rest of our government turned a blind eye and death ear as if they were exaggerating the demise of Cali. Had our government heeded their warning, none of this would be occurring.

Civil war anyone?
This is a sad truth! They tried to warn us, but no one listened. Now, we see the unfortunate consequences of our apathy.

Not all Mexicans are fat and/or lazy. I am of Mexican descent and I am not fat by any stretch. I understand that you are upset and have lots of frustration but you do demean a whole ethnicity or nationality and it isn't right.

What exactly is so bad about LA? I have never lived there but it certainly seemed like a first world city (with some slums, I admit) to me.

The main problem is that there's no middle class left. The Mayor has to supplement his income by cleaning toilets, so you can IMAGINE what the 'little people' have to do. Otherwise, it's not that bad.

Oh I know, that's why I said: "food stamp absorbing illegal alien. " You misread my post.

What is bad is that the slummy areas are creeping into the formerly middle-class neighborhoods and pretty soon it will all go to pot. In the community I live in, since the illegals have come to town, grafitti abounds, I can't take my kids to the public park, polka music blasts into the evening with people vocally carousing through microphones, the peripheral blocks have shopping carts and garbage strewn everywhere, I could go on like this forever.

It will get better though - since the housing boom is busting, not only citizens are losing their homes. Plenty of illegals are getting foreclosed on and since the construction industry is also struggling right now, several illegals are already going back home.

As per the other thread dealing with the Lienart Park incident; I not heard squat in the MSM.

Although: if my prediction comes to pass; California will turn against the illegals and their enablers-----and, it will be sudden.

Does "South Bay" mean the Long Beach area? One of my friends is from Rancho Palos Verdes and someone else I know used to live in the Naples Island section of Long Beach.
