Creative writing would be an ideal job. At least I know I wouldnt have my job taken by illegals.
I'm surprised, amc, and a little disappointed, in the level of this post, given your normally 'sharp eye' on ferreting out any and all racism that you encounter as you go about your business.

As far as I know, "Ooga ooga"..(and all "me"-type sentences...) were the language spoken by ALL "Natives" in early Hollywood movies. Sometimes called "Ooga booga", it's now considered the height of racism to use such terms. "Ooga booga" statements would NEVER be allowed by today's movie industry...I realize you're a private citizen, and this is a forum, not the movies...but I'm disappointed....or I guess you could say "Me feel BIG disappointment. AMC let me down....bring frown to my face"..

The stereotype I was actually using was that of a caveman.
But if I offended you, my sincere apologies. Also to any of you who are of caveman descent. In fact, I am of caveman descent myself(partial! But mostly American!) so I'm allowed to make those kinds of stereotypical jokes.

But again, sorry to you and any other Americans of caveman descent. That was wrong.

I'm glad you have such a great knowledge of racist terms. I'll be sure to run anything else past you before I use it and get misunderstood like that.

If the murderer was a U.S citizen of Mexican descent this story would not have surfaced as it has. I would support this, eitherway, but I do not condone gang members.

'Jamielís Law' backers get unexpected boost from city raid
By BETTY PLEASANT, Contributing Editor 28.AUG.08

After a crackdown by several city departments against street vendors in Leimert Park Aug. 17, petitioners draw bigger crowds last Sunday.

What started off as a humiliating raid in Leimert Park by the agents of the city of Los Angeles, ended up being a boon to the efforts of the family of Jamiel Shaw II to have an immigration law enacted in the slain teenagerís name.
