Federal authorities said Friday they have offered a reward of up to $350,000 for information leading to the arrest of a Mexican suspect in a Border Patrol agentís death.

Authorities believe Jesus Albino Navarro Montes, 22, is in Mexico but based on previous actions may try to re-enter the United States.

U.S. officials allege that Navarro struck and killed agent Luis Aguilar with a vehicle on Jan. 19 as Aguilar tried to place spike strips on a road to stop suspected drug smugglers in Californiaís Imperial County Sand Dunes.

Aguilar, 32, was a six-year Border Patrol veteran.

Mexican authorities arrested Navarro on Jan. 22 in Mexicali. But U.S. authorities failed to formally request his extradition over the next five months, and on June 18, a judge freed Navarro after clearing him of an unrelated migrant-smuggling charge.

This reward is BS. If the government really gave a **** they would not have waited the 5 months they would have been on top of this from the beginning. Our government is worthless and sides with illegal aliens over our own border patrol guards and that is disgusting and traitorous.

I have no doubt that Luis Aguilar did not shoot because of the Ramos and Compean issue. If Luis had shot-who knows-he may be alive. I blame George Bush, Johnny Sutton and all others involved for the death of Luis Aguilar. Sadly, this reward is nothing more than trying to counter balance the protests of Ted Poe, Brian Bilbray and others. I do not think our government is actively searching for this murderer. If our president really wanted this murderer caught-all he would need to do is put some pressure on Mexico. But then again our government refused to acknowledge for months that tainted peppers came from Mexico for fear of "offending" them. I guess they would rather have our border guard's murderers run free instead of demanding Mexico find this scum and turn him over. Afterall-that might "offend" Mexico.

I couldn't agree more. The fact that the current OB traitors operating as our government continues to allow and condone the nationals of the corrupt, dysfunctional neighboring stepchild known as Mexico to invade and perpetrate one crime after another against this country, it's citizens and law enforcement officials is a disgrace.

Unfortunately for America, and despite the upcoming elections there is no end in sight.
