A significant number of illegal alien workers who are arrested during immigration raids are released due to a number of humanitarian reasons. I understand they have to follow up with an immigration judge sometimes in the future.

What happens to them at that point. I suspect they have to wear some type of monitoring device, but their court appearances may be months in the future. It would be illegal for them to work, wouldn't it, but who is paying for their expenses in the mean time while they are waiting for a decision by the immigration judge?

They aren't always forced to wear monitoring devices. Someone posted here a while ago that some illegals from another raid were allowed to take off their ankle braclets.

It was illegal for them to work before-why would that stop them from doing it again? I suspect a good number will move to another state or town, get another fake id and work again. Some may self-deport-at least I hope they do. How do we really track these people? We cannot assume that the name they give ICE is their real name. It is just like when a judge allows IA to self-deport. How many of them do what the judge instructs?

How would any of them be allowed to stay? The big case where Arellano (sp) was forced to leave is proof that it went through the courts and she still had to go anchor or no anchor baby.
