• Because of their much lower education levels, Mexican immigrants earn significantly less than natives on average. This results in lower average tax payments and heavier use of means-tested programs. Based on estimates developed by the National Academy of Sciences for immigrants by age and education at arrival, the lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is a negative $55,200.

Times that by 30 MILLION!
and this study was from 2002...

Center for Immigration Studies

Is it referring to illegal aliens from Mexico, legal immigrants from Mexico, or both?

I do know many cannot go to school and most do not go past 6th grade. My husband who is a US citizen graduated from Guatemala with 4.0 in arcitectural design. Unfortunately it has not helped him in the US though he is a field engineer and makes decent money> He repairs everything but mostly computerized systems, it is a shame. Illegals coming to US are even dentists. they make okay $ in mexico but wash dishes here. Not sure why some come.

It is very bad in many countries and what little you make is taken from you by the goverment.
This is why we come here and America does want and need us.

No WE don't! Only criminal employers and pandering politicians, along with ethno-centric lobbyists want or need you.

Thank you very kind. I wouldn't visit Mexico now as it has gotten very dangerous so avoid it for awhile.

That explains why the 'ILLEGALS' are taking the jobs of the under educated, thus the lower wages for lower skilled workers here in this country.
