I wonder why we are entertaining anything this man has to say/offer when he refused to take care of his own people.

Memo to Senor Fox:

The main reason that Mexico; to use one example, even had heavy industry was due to local content laws for cars, etc.

The cold reality is oftentimes it is cheaper to build products here in the high wage USA for sale in Mexico. Aside from wages; Mx is not an inexpensive nation to manufacture things.

Cheaply manufactured usually means inferior product. I hope they've factored in the cost of gangster style payoffs to the Mexican government and the potential decline in sales should American backlash occurs if they attempt to hock those cars in America. It's one thing to relocate your plant in order to manufacture a product cheaply. Doing so at the expense of jobs to American workers, just may work against them.

Actually; Mexico is a significant source of cars/trucks sold here and in a few other nations.

Every Chrysler PT Cruiser sold here comes from SOB along with any other vehicle where the first letter of its VIN is 3.............

Really? Of all the cars/trucks that I have owned (8 total brand new 1st one used) I have never owned a Chrysler. I will add them to my list of my brands not to purchase. Thanks for the heads up!

Are you serious?! I just bought my first Chrysler this year. I'll have to check my VIN. I hope itís just the PT Cruisers and not the 300ís.

Funny I was thinking of trading in my SUV and buying a 300 when they first came out and then decided that it would be hard for me to readjust to driving a car. Glad I made that decision.
