Calling an "Illegal" an undocumented resident
is like calling a drug dealer an unlicensed pharmacist

I accept responsibility for my actions, why can't illegals. They are here illegally. Please do not attempt to use the term "unify" around me. You have no desire to "unify," so please stop pretending to be civil. You want Americans to work and support you, and be completely happy about it.

This illegal term is a bad term best to use pre amnesty workers as the term .

That makes you an elitist SNOB, and you make me SICK!

I don't think they should be treated like they are, by a lot of Americans they are treated like they are sub human, I think that can be a dangerous slippery slope when we treat others that we are better, that is one of the problems of the US we always have thought we were the best of the best, well its not looking to good right now, others are getting tired of being trampled with.

I would be happy with a guest worker program, so now we are at a stalemate and nothing is getting settled. You are not going to get rid of all of them that are here, so there better be a compromise somewhere, it would seem more logical to me.

There's an easy solution. GO HOME!!!!!

Furthermore, the only people who are getting "trampled on" are legal taxpaying citizens.

Trampling whom? If you are referring to your 'precious' illegal immigrant compadres.............try again.

If anything; said illegals if charged with additional crimes like ID theft should be placed in tent cities in N Dakota to serve their time prior to deportation. Needless to say: if tents are good enough for our Armed Forces----------they are certainly good enough for lawbreakers.

What is the plan to move the thousands home? They are here and have been for a long time and no one was hot and botherd then, now they are here and you expect them to make a mass exodus for Mexico. I think that is expecting a lot of people that have lived here for years.

Let's see:

Employer sanctions laws nationwide
Cancel birthright citizenship for future Anchor Babies (grandfather in the existing ones but deport the parents anyway)
Make it a Felony to aid and abet an illegal immigrant (except if health and public safety are at stake).
Fortify at least our southern border, issue 'shoot to kill' orders to the Border Patrol
Copy/paste Mexico's laws pertaining to illegal immigration into the US legal code.

As the US economy continues to head south, the jobs that many of them worked here are going to disappear. Also, as more Americans experience difficult times, they are going to need some of the benefits that the illegals have freely partaken of. I think as the number of people needing help increases, recipients will be scrutinized more carefully to be sure they are eligible for benefits. As the jobs and benefits dry up, the illegals will leave on their own.
They may have lived here for years but they have been in violation of US laws the entire time. The fact that they have been here for a long time is no excuse to allow them to stay. They knew what they were doing when they came here.

I believe what we are doing is working. Remove the jobs. actively pursue suspected illegals. Many are fleeing before its their turn.
I don't think its expecting a lot. I think its expecting them to respect our rights. They may leave at will the sooner the better. I pity the children they are trapped by less than perfect circumstances and through no fault of their own. Anytime a childs heart is broken its a sin. But I care most about american children and the families impacted by illegals. That includes families of mexican heritage.
