Just the growing desperation of the pro illegal/amnesty crowd here.............never mind that even the MSM is posting more and more stories of the illegal immigrants being petrified of living here anymore and fleeing back to Mexico, etc.

No, really! I want to hear this. I want to hear about how it would never occur to Mexicans to come to the US for medical care. Like they wouldn't DREAM of showing up here with some medical problem and let the US taxpayer cover the cost of fixing it. Perish the thought!

Ha! What a hoot! That is the craziest thing you have written yet. You never had a whole lot of credibility to begin with. Now you have none.

YOu people are absolutely delusional.

In overall health care the USA ranks 37th and Mexico 61st out of some 160+ countries. On life expectancy the US is 24th and Mexico 55th. In general Mexico does better than Russia for example.

People in border regions of the US often use Mexico for health care. Article about it in the NY Times some years ago.

The primary problem with Mexican Health Care is affordability particularly in the rural provinces. Those people don't have any money to get to the US either legally or illegally.

So yes we have a substantial advantage...but with lots of overlap.

Mexicans don't come to the US for medical care. It is quite available in Mexico and it would never occur to them. When in the US they of course use the US system. In fact US citizen don't come to the US for medical care unless it is some heavy procedure where they need to do so for health insurance reasons. Often your health coverage won't cover in Mexico. some times not even in an emergency.

Actually a family of four may do very well without any assistance. These people work hard and are good at making money. Few have any interest in welfare.

Of course there is going to be an amnesty of one sort or another. The population has no intention of deporting them. It ain't gonna happen. So eventually we will have some version of an amnesty. Likely we will wait because of all the anti noise until the economy picks up and the influx is well underway. But we will have one.

There are no acceptable methods that prevent them staying. You can do a better job of forcing them off the official payrolls but all that does is screw the tax collector and the illegal. They just go off payroll.
Americans will hop an airline and fly to a border town for dental work. The work is every bit as good as compared to U.S. standards and is half the price. In Nogales there is a shuttle from one dental office that will pick you up with at least 3 other passengers and take you to Nogales for the dental work and take you home. I have always seen more Americans than Mexicans there, or at least half.
The offices are very clean and they do speak english.

I agree they have very good dentist, doctors and people do go there . Problem is most Mexican's cant afford it themselves .
Many of these clinics deal just with American's or non Mexican's.

Its ironic that more American's yrly go there for some type medical work and most Mexican's come here . Neither group can afford it in their own country .

You don't need to hire anyone to get you through the border most do not hire anyone and do it.

Those are generally people who live in the border regions are they not?

Are you saying that someone from one of the rural provinces can get to the border and across in a reasonable period of time without money?

We live in a border town and drive to American Nogales and park in a great parking lot, pay 4 dollars for parking and walk across the street and you are in Mexico, if you go to the dentist, they reimburse you the 4 dollars for parking. I have many friends and family that fly down especially to get their dental work done that they would never have been able to afford in the U.S.

Yes, it is ironic and sad. Maybe we will have to go back to the barter system again, bring a chicken with you when you see the doctor.
