Don't let it bother you...it's not the 'end of the world', anyway. Obama only said he'd stop hate speech directed at ILLEGALS....as soon as they're 'legal', they're OK to hate.....at least, that's my understanding.

The bottom line is, getting our representatives to understand that the normal citizen that has been paying taxes all his life is tired of paying for everyone else all over the world! Then one day we will wake up and there will be no social security for our elderly, but illegals will have medical care that our own citizens can't afford. In fact they already do. Our elderly are struggling. And it will not get any better.

Oh they understand, the problem is they are obligated to the lobbyist to keep their end of the bargain. The problem is they don't care.

Common sense dictates legal citizens would statistically outnumber illegals in criminal offenses. After all, legal citizens vastly outnumber illegals. However, I fail to understand how illegals lower the crime rate. That's quite a stretch.

I'd like to see the research you've accumulated to back those claims (bolded). Additionally, it would make sense that citizens would cause harm to more Americans than illegals do--given the mathematical ratio of American citizens to illegal aliens.
But again, I ask you. Why, in the name of all that's sane, would we condone the importation of criminals into this country to fold, spindle, and mutilate her citizens when we have more than enough of the homegrown variety willing to do the same?
It simply makes me wonder about the intelligence quotient of those who cannot see the inanity of this particular argument.

APPARENTLY, Olecapt is suggesting that illegals lower the overall crime rate by simply "diluting" our own restive pool of native-born malefactors. Take the average Mafia "family" of, say, 100 'guys'.....add in 20 soft-spoken Amish farmers....and you NOW have a 'group' of 120...with a SLIGHTLY lower rate of 'hits' per 'guy'. The Amish don't USUALLY 'whack' guys....at least not very often. Therefore your crime rate has dropped....
