"Jobs that Americans don't do or don't want" is a common misconception created by the open boarders/amnesty crowds.

Basically what they are saying is that if you are an AMERICAN of a certain race or simply a "low-income" American, then you are doing jobs that "illegals should be doing". That is a disgraceful and racist concept to say some Americans won't take certain jobs, while in fact they DO.

Do you know WHY there are jobs that Americans rather NOT take today??

Well in the past in Orlando, Florida, where I grew up, you'd go to a hotel and there were mostly white and black hotel workers. Wages were fair, cost of living was not bad, people could make ends meet working one of these jobs.

Then for the past 20 years, the floodgates of illegal immigration were opened right after the 1986 amnesty and illegals slowly began to leave the traditional illegal alien "hubs" (the border states of CA, AZ, NM, TX) and bagan coming to Central Florida. They would work for 1/2 of waht the US workers were making back then.

As you can imagine, hotels and other unskilled employers were letting go of their US workers and attarcting illegal aliens to fill the jobs of the US workers and saved money. Eventually with the surplus of cheap labor, the wages for the American white and black workers began to deteriorate and eventually all American workers left the "jobs Americans don't want" because the wages became super low.

So that is pretty much why we have these types of jobs. You know, my mother-in-law who is white and is like 58 years old used to work for a Hotel outside of Cincinnati, OH as a housekeeper. She said one day the hotel staff said they were "adjusting wages" (lowering) and then they eventually got rid opf their American workforce of housekeepers for a "subcontract" of illegal aliens.

No wonder the wages for the low-wage Americans have plunged and why Americans "don't want" some jobs!!!

Ummm my kids for one. Whom cannot get a job because they are all taken by illegals. My 15 year old would LOVE to earn the minimum wage here, for some extra spending cash, but nope sorry, none open. When I was in high school, I did these jobs, picked strawberries, made hamburgers, yes even cleaned the restrooms, for little pay, but I was glad to have the money. Who do you think did the jobs before the illegals?

Well I don't know where you live but there are plenty of teenagers working minimum wage jobs here in North Carolina and we have one of the largest illegal immigrant populations in the entire country! I know that Americans did the jobs before illegal immigrants, however, today I know many Americans who wouldn't dare pick up a broom or a dish rag!

I lived in Raleigh NC, nothing like AZ sorry, I think after LA and Texas we have the largest in the country. Thank the lord I got out. And if you do have plenty of kids working those jobs then i guess that answers your question. Kids will do it if given the chance. I have 4 kids, all willing to do it, so are their friends most mow yards and pick up dog crap to make extra money, I think people just assume they wont and wont give them the chance.

Thanks to "Them" we lost our business, we have been in construction for 20 years and have seen too many people lose their jobs and businesses because of the illegals, over and over. And no it is a fact and we wont ever shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
