Well I'm sorry to hear that but the MAJORITY of Americans would turn their nose up at working a minimum wage job other than teenagers (and I know some teenagers who turn their noses up at working those jobs). You still will not ever be able to convince me that illegal immigrants are hurting our economy because if they all walked off the job tomorrow our country would go downhill from there.

I'm not gonna argue anymore b/c you'll never change my mind...if you lose your job b/c of an illegal immigrant suck it up and deal with it and go find another job...there are plenty of jobs out there in this country that are just looking to be snatched up!

or we can just arrest and deport them or better yet, just refuse to employ them. That way my kids ( who are americans and shouldnt have to lose their jobs to those who ARE NOT) wont have to worry about their future jobs.

Well I don't know where you live but there are plenty of teenagers working minimum wage jobs here in North Carolina and we have one of the largest illegal immigrant populations in the entire country! I know that Americans did the jobs before illegal immigrants, however, today I know many Americans who wouldn't dare pick up a broom or a dish rag!

Frankly, I have grown tired of your implication that Americans are 'lazy'. You appear to think that mindless physical labor is the only type of work that can be considered 'hard'. I disagree. The airline pilot who is flying a jumbo jet from CA to Australia is working hard. So is a long distance trucker responsible for getting a load of perishable foodstuffs from one end of the country to the other as quickly as possible. So is a researcher at the CDC who is working on a cure for AIDS. So is the teacher, the UPS guy, the CEO of GE, and the RN who works a 12 hous shift in the ER on a Friday night. Picking tomatoes in the hot sun would be a walk in the park compared to the jobs many Americans do.

That statement is PURE propoganda to raise support for their cause. It's crap. Americans WILL do the jobs, just not for less than they can feed their family for! Also, I've seen these illegals in large numbers working in construction and landscaping. Someone please tell me when Americans decided that the age old profession of construction was beneath them! Not buying, Americans will do those jobs and plenty more.

True, they will. But what consumer wants to pay $20 for a head of lettuce because the American worker would require a higher pay rate? Or 2x the cost of a house because labor rates our higher? We can't have our cake and eat it too...we either get low cost items with imported labor or high cost items with domestic labor...assuming all things are equal and there is the national price floor on the domestic cost of labor that is the minimum wage. Don't take my word for it...go read some Freidman.

Well let's see; lettuce did not cost $20 a head BEFORE the illegal invasion, why would it now?
The only reason illegal aliens are employed is for greater profit for the employer; it has nothing to do with keeping prices down for the consumer. There are no jobs that Americans won't do, they were being done before the illegal invasion, they will be done after.
There is no justification for rewarding anyone for breaking the law. The illegal alien employers should be prosecuted. The illegal aliens should be prosecuted. If our government isn't willing to do anything about illegal aliens, then we need to do it ourselves. Do not hire an illegal alien. Do not support any business that does. Report any known illegal aliens. Report anyone that employs illegal aliens. The biggest reason this problem got so out of hand is that we are all waiting for someone else to take care of it. We, the apathetic American, need to get off our duffs and deal with it!
