I don't even care if he directly caused it, here is the kicker;
"Francis Hernandez, a Guatamalan native who had been arrested almost 20 times in the last five years, faces multiple felony charges in connection"
Again, look at the damage just one of those giant turds wreak.
"This is a case where a man was masquerading, quite successfully, as a U.S. citizen," said ICE spokesman Tim Counts. Counts said ICE believes Hernandez is here illegally but will launch a full investigation once he's in their custody. cbs4denver.com - Aurora Police, ICE Agents Disagree On Hernandez Case (http://cbs4denver.com/local/kudlis.Francis.Hernandez.2.814073.html - broken link)
Gov. Bill Ritter Jr., a Democrat, said the Bush administration has understaffed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, leaving it unable to respond when local authorities tried to have the man deported earlier this year.
But federal authorities say they have no record of the report, and Rep. Tom Tancredo, Colorado Republican, says the "blood from this incident" is on the hands of Denver officials for protecting the suspect's identity. . . A 2006 Colorado law requires state and local police to notify federal immigration authorities after arresting suspected illegal immigrants for crimes other than minor traffic offenses. And local authorities said they did just that.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has blocked the SAVE Act from coming to the floor for a vote, and it is likely dead for this year. Another bill, which would encourage businesses to use a state-of-the art system called E-Verify to find out whether a job applicant is in the United States legally, has been endorsed by both John McCain and Barack Obama. On July 31, the House voted 407-2 to continue the program. But the ACLU is strongly opposed to E-Verify, and Sen. Robert Menendez, an open-borders New Jersey Democrat, has blocked its passage in the Senate. . . . . regardless of who dropped the ball in the particular case, open-borders politicians like Mrs. Pelosi and Mr. Menendez, who have made this country a welcoming place for illegals, have to shoulder some of the blame for the fact that aliens like Francis Hernandez continue to walk the streets. Illegal alien : (with 12 aliases)
Francis M. Hernandez
His lawyer is the very type of ambulance chaser that gives attorneys a bad name.
AMEN, Kele
If this SCUMBAG ILLEGAL had either stayed home in the first place or had been deported after his 4th or 5th or even 6th arrest, this would not even be an issue and these innocent victims would be alive today.
Unfortunately, many of our City and State Leaders, not to mention many in Washington, have contributed to this tragedy with this Sanctuary City and/or Look The Other Way BS.
