I don't hate the people who are illegal immigrants, many of them could be very fun, friendly and smart people.
I hate what their decisions and actions do to the country.
Exactly what I've said over many months on the forum. I've known illegals for decades, worked beside, helped and BEEN helped by them, and found most of them to be fine people. Even have a few "anchor babies" in my own extended family.

But the situation NOW is not like that of 25 or 30 years ago...our economy isn't the same, WE are not the same, and the newly-arriving illegals are not the same. What was once a 'victimless crime' accepted by most, is now a major problem, and has very serious negative effects on ALL of us.

Like you, I do not and CAN not "hate" non-violent illegals as individuals. I DO, though, 'hate' what their continued arrival is doing to our nation. And I want it to stop..and I can feel this way, without hating anyone.

Thank You macmeal. You've just echoed the exact words we've all been trying to get some people to understand about us.

Your thoughts are well put and shared by many. Now please, let your Congressman know how you feel.
