Just another reason why not one more visa should be issued until we have a real visa tracking system. Our government gives out these visas and there is no way to track all those who overstay here illegally. You would think after the 9/11 hijackers overstayed their visas the gov would have made changes but they just don't care.

Clearly, profits for the greedy corporations, trumps national security. It's despicable.

Agreed. The number of visa overstayers is almost as staggering as the number of border jumpers. The next POTUS can promise amnesty all he wants during the campaign season, it ain't gonna happen. While I feel sorry for some of those who have been victimized (because some were just straight up greedy and irresponsible) this economic collapse is a blessing in disguise.

And meanwhile the millions of immigrants around the globe who have submitted paperwork to come legally get nothing for being lawful. No illegal immigrant should get citizenship before them. Politicians are scum.

Those who have done everything right and yet remain in the entry cue indefinitely is the biggest tragedy in all of this. No illegal alien should be given amnesty PERIOD. They should be sent home to apply legally like everyone else.

With the collapsing of our economy, we really need a temporary moratorium on all immigration unless they are sponsored solely by their employer. We need a time out from those who simply want to come here to fulfill their version of the American Dream.

Right now we have plenty of Americans who need a job. It's time to take care of our own.

I couldn't agree more. As more people lose jobs and their homes, there will be even more outrage at illegals being employed in this country. There will most definitely NOT be an amnesty.
