Sassy this vet has had desert raining and has done missions in the desert.
The point is if these people were not attempting to break the law they would not be in danger of dieing from thirst.
If parents love their 2 year old child they would not attempt to cross a desert, period. I can survive in a desert and have. I know that I would never take a child on such a venture especially my own.
Sassy if a criminal falls through your roof while trying to break into your house whose fault is it?
If a criminal whilein your house eats rancid food from your refridgerator and gets food poisoning whose fault is it?
The point is they are dieing while committing a crime. They are responsible for their own deaths. Not the folks shooting the water jugs. It is regrettable and yes I feel for the children. They deserve better parents.

If a person is killed during the commission of a crime, it is a consequence of their own criminal behavior. Likewise, if people die while trying to enter this country illegally, they have chosen to risk their lives. Sadly, innocent children often suffer due to their parents’ selfish criminal behavior.

And just whose fault is it that any of them die out in the desert? They can have all of the water they desire in their own damn countries. They decide to cross the desert, knowing the chances and how difficult it is, then people like you have the nerve to place the blame on Americans because some of them die. It never ceases to amaze me how little you think of your own country.

They die from lack of water because they are too ignorant to heed the warnings that it is not there. No one has a gun to their backs making them cross.

If they cannot carry enough water to cross they better not cross. There are plenty of border patrol along the way that can help them out.

Exactly. Although any childs death is regrettable, it is especially so when due to stupid, criminal parents.

Curious, who's called you racist?

A few times youve jumped on my posts, reacting as if I've called you racist, but who else has?

I would offer water. But seriously, what kind of human being would just dump their 3 year old in the desert? You would think they would try to give it a decent grave instead of leaving it to rot in the sun. For that fact, how could you even leave a fellow traveler to rot? They do it all the time.

Not a pleasant subject, but I can assure you that by the time you're dying of heat prostration, you're really in no condition to bury ANYONE....and a few of these folks do die a very gruesome death, each summer, and I would imagine that 90% of them die alone. You become delirious, disoriented, and begin to hallucinate...many rip their own clothes off (very common), and apparently some dying instinct causes many of them to stuff their own mouths with sand (?) It's a particularly ugly way to die. Hardly a situation in which you're going to be able to give your buddy a 'decent burial'.

Can't condone illegal immigration, but neither can I make light of their suffering when they've gotten to that point.

The three year old child? It's tragic...but I doubt it was intentional.
