Obama says that illegal immigrants ought to be able to attend U.S. community colleges. His justification for this is that if the illegal immigrants came to the U.S. as children, then they've "never lived in Mexico, so far as they can tell."

Also, according to this report, Obama wanted California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to drop his threatened veto of a bill that would make illegal immigrants who graduate high school eligible for college aid.

I have had passing thoughts of voting for McCain just to keep illegal-hugging Obama out of office, then i think "100 years in Iraq" and his amnesty stance, then i come back to reality.
I cant get in-state tuition for MD colleges even though i'm an hour drive from most of them and some illegal alien hustlers are gonna get in-state tuition? no!!!!!!!!!!
In defense of Obama: he may just be pandering to the 'Hispanic' vote; remember that he will have to answer to American Blacks---------90% of whom plan to vote for him.

Agreed. If it came down to Obama (minus the IA hugging) vs. McCain, I'd vote for Obama. The thought of Sara Palin being sworn in 6 hours after McCain was elected and promptly drops dead makes me throw up in my mouth.

I plan to vote for the Libertarian Presidental ticket (Mainly b/c of Barr's voting record on immigration) so i'm liable to not like what happens anyway.
One thing i will say about Obama is he made a wiser VP choice. I'm not liking this pandering (i refer to it as another foul word), especially for a law-breaking population.

I don't know which way to turn. Obama I fear would throw his grannie under the bus and will still pander to the hispanics anyway. I sadly think he will end up being a disaster, but then we have McCain to look forward too. We are screwed.

haha! let obama win and then let him find a way to pay for all of his social programs. the party has just ended!!! all of those people who are going to vote for obama and want all of his handouts are going to find the cupboard bare after this election. we are not paying!!!!
