I'm still unclear of how if someone speaks another language it can have a negative effect. I think it sounds more like white folks feel these people are inferior.

I could put photos of Canoga Park, Calif. side by side with TJ Mexico and they would look exactally like the same area.

Personally I dont care if they speak spanish, especially at home, thats their right. But in public when speaking and dealing with those of us that dont, it is considered POLITE to try to communicate in English, since that is what most of us speak. If I were in another country I would NEVER expect them to learn english for me.

[quote=dusesean1986;359915]The issue of this forum is illegal immigrants The U.S. is a sovereign nation, crossing the border was illegal. I believe there is a leagl path for citizens and of other countries to come to the United States,

That is the entire point. Illegal immigrants are breaking the law. They broke the law by crossing the US border looking to steal americas resources. That is Americans jobs, housing, health care. Furthermore they have stolen americas basic neccessities like food and clothing. They have stolen seats in school classrooms. Illegals have stolen our clean garbage free robbery free conjestion free neighborhoods. Illegals have stolen Americans civil liberty freedom and persuit of happyness.. That makes illegals Criminals and felons. Illegals violate US sovereignty. They provoke our border our language and our culture. They are an invasion on the US nation.

Don't ever forget that Adolf Hitler sent German citizens over the German boarder into Czechslovakia and Poland in order to claim parts of those countries as German.

To advocate civil rights for illegal aliens means treason. And anybody who adocates for illegals is a felon him or herself. And this should mean criminal and legal consequences in a normal society.

As a matter of fact I have, and it looks nothing like Tijuana.

I don't think someone who speaks another language is inferior. It just confuses the heck outta me. And a lot of times (not any specific people) they get mad at me when I don't talk back because I don't understand them, or I just shake my head, shrug, and say I don't understand you. Then they go storming off. (And please note that this isn't just spanish speaking persons, i've had italians, and french people talk to me and I do just the same for them.)

I don't give a rat's hiney, but many folks are outraged by something as simple as having to speak broken English a minute out of their day. I mean if that's the worst thing that happens to you, you got problems.
