It's been said that if you don't vote, you have no right to complain.

I found a lot of faults with your arguments. Mod cut-orphaned First of all you are defending criminals, saying that just because they had it rough that gives them some sort of right to come over to this country illegally.

So what if their life is tough in Mexico!!!!
My family and I lived in poverty, around corruption and terrorism.
We could have taken a plane to Mexico and crossed illegally, but we didn't because there is a reason for laws.

You're giving the illegals a free pass, as if they have not broken the law, just because "society made them do it."
You think the US government is a big conspiracy that is out to get us. Its not the government is there to protect us, sure there are representatives who do what they can to stay in power and in the process Mod cut us over.

There will always be Corrupt countries and Drug bands all over the world.

The enemy is the ILLEGAL that crosses over and the anchors and brain-washed citizens who "protect" their so called rights. We would love to seal the border, we would love to have a stricter policy on Rules of Engagement on the border, but we can't because all of the Damn so called "activist" who are mostly illegal immigrants, their anchors, and extreme liberals who think this country should be open to everyone to milk as a big fat cow.

Your reply was the most childish thing I have seen on these forums, and this is a 19 year old saying this. All it was was a little kid who couldn't handle being wrong.

As far as I'm concerned your rebuttal is meritless. Not only are you misinterpreting what I was trying to say but I really don't understand in totality what exactly it is that you are trying to say or get across.

My post was not from my own theory or feelings but it was from dedicated research and real life experience. Some of the books and articles that I read were written by people who have been studying this issue for over 40 years; that's long before you and I were even born. I do not claim that I know this entire issue but I do see the actual root of the problem; I came here to voice it.

To a degree, I'm getting a little disappointed with this form. This form should be about open and honest discussion no matter how argumentative people become, but as soon as you post things that challenge peoples current PROGRAMMING it never fails to attract people like you who just aim and shoot the idea out the the sky. Furthermore, no scholarly evidence is presented to support your rebuttal; such as I did at the beginning of this post.

Since you took time to post and you expect people to read your post, is the best idea you can type, besides shooting at other peoples ideas, is that people crossing the border are breaking the law, therefore, they are illegal? I mean, I think everybody knows this already gonzo.

All I can say is if you do your homework. You will uncover evidence that suggest that we live in a dictatorship that is only cloaked as a democracy; at any time "they" can pull the plug to this land we call home of the brave and land of the free.

If you do not like the concept that the USA has the sovereign right to secure its borders: find another nation to live in. 'nuff said!

Yawn.

All nations can invoke martial law.............I have visited behind the Iron Curtain----------trust me; the USA is a hell of a lot better than pre 1990 Eastern Europe.
