Wow, they're just pissing everybody off aren't they? Legal Latino's, whites, blacks, asians and now Native Americans. Are they trying to make as many enemies as possible?

Why would they be mad? I thought a large segment of the illegal population was representing themselve as native americans?

I have noticed that as well---------------OTOH: most of the non Hispanic Indians resent being lumped in with Latinos.

My neighbors are Navajo and are quite annoyed at many of the Mestizo Hispanics in the neighborhood. For the record: many of the latter were probably illegal..........the Spanish speakers have really thinned out since our employer sanctions law was passed a year ago.

Because Latino's are not native americans, they are mixed. and the natives of Mexico and other Latin American countries speak Spanish, while the Native Americans here in the States, do not. Not to mention, they are two different types of Native Americans, which means two different types of culture, which means there is still a culture clash and a risk of the Native Americans losing their own specific culture in their reservation. While the illegals may imbrace them as an excuse to let themselves be here, the Native Americans know that they are very different from Latino's, and are not receiving them from the other side.
