ICE: Deportations from Arizona UP 65 Percent . . .

Tucson Citizen November 06, 2008, 7:13 p.m.

A record number of illegal immigrants were deported from Arizona
in 2008, federal officials said Thursday.

During fiscal 2008, which ended Sept. 30, 72,995 illegal immigrants
were deported, said Vincent Picard, an Immigration and Customs
Enforcement spokesman.

That was up 65 percent from the more than 44,300 illegal immigrants
who were deported from the state in 2007, he said.

That is great news, but with the new administration....this is probably going to come to a screeching halt.
Only the most brave and dedicated patriots will continue to enforce the Immigration laws of this country in the face of what promises to be massive pressure to 'forgive' and 'ignore' Illegal Immigration.

I disagree there.

Obama will be under horrific pressure to do something about our deepening recession...........and, under both FDR (Democrat) and Eisenhower (Republican)--------deportations of illegals really ratcheted upwards.
