Really funny to see how ignorant people from the United States are. America is a huge land divided into three continents; South America, Central America and North America which includes Canada, U.S. and Mexico. All of which can be call x-americans. Furhtermore the amount of resources the U.S. steals (either bought them from corrupt governments or simply took them) from other American countries with the exception of Canada is the one reason why most of those people have to make the decision to come here to work illegally, since the stuff in their own country belongs to the U.S. Besides we need cheap ethnic labor in order to maintain our type of government, which is why historically the only thing the changes is the country of origin of immigrants not the problem of immigration itself

All excuses to justify the failure of the cultures Mexico on down south.

Germany was savagely mauled during/shortly after WW II yet within one generation (20 years) it rebuilt itself into a fullblown powerhouse far eclipsing Nazi germany economically. If a nation that lost 1/3rd of its land (plus East Germany being under Soviet control), 4-7 million people out of 80 million could do so--------what is Mexico's excuse?

Before you call others ignorant, check your geography. There are two continents in the Western Hemisphere, North America, and South America. Central Anerica is not a continent. It's part of the North American continent.

You mean to say that an oil rich nation like mexico owns no responsibility for the economic troubles?
The NAFTA treaty that really only benefits mexico was unfair for Mexico?
We need cheap ethnic labor? Do you mean to say that all those contractors here legally race not important are unqualified and only those south of the border are qualified?
Wow I am so confused.

Yeah there are two continents in the Western Hemisphere, and 3 regions which is how for purpose of ease when studying America is divided. At any rate Mexico belongs to NORTH AMERICA regardless of how you want to divide it, which was my point. Secondly, I am doing research on this topic and came across this website which is why 1 year later (did not know the immigration issue had gone away since) I a dormant post, I need it for my research. Furthermore, the ethnic line meant this (AMERICA or Western Hemisphere relied on the labor of African slaves to work the crops, later the U.S. employed Chinese labor for the railroad, next Japanese for the mines, Irish and Italians during WWI, and Mexican during the Vietnam war to work the fields), now it uses ILLEGAL (which are a lot of ethnic minority races) to do most jobs not wanted or of lower "class. NAFTA does not help mexicans as most of their small businesses and land owners had to closed down as American businesses and products invaded that country without any tariffs on them, while VERY LIMITED Mexican businesses are coming to the U.S. Besides, the Illegal problem is beyond Mexico, yes they make up 68% of them, but it is much larger than them, and if the government (past and present) wanted to do something about it they would have, but they understand the necessity for those types of people to allow this country to maintain their lifestyle. Look at Canada (my country), we are taking in illegal immigrants that crossed illegally from here to become residents because we are moving towards the same type of country the U.S. is and we understand the necessity of this type of labor.
