County wants to fight illegal immigration | GreenvilleOnline.com | The Greenville News

Quote:
Advocates of local enforcement, such as Greenville County Councilman Bob Taylor, say illegal immigrants are a burden on schools and health-care systems, but critics say it leads to ineffective, piecemeal enforcement and opens local government to lawsuits.

Taylor has proposed that employers who knowingly hire undocumented workers could potentially lose their right to do business in unincorporated parts of Greenville County under a ordinance requiring business registration.
Maybe there are some politicians who have common sense in this country.

Good for them!

Good for them.

This country needs to begin a mass exodus of illegal immigrants and severe penalties for those who re-enter after the ban becomes law. This means that every illegal immigrant family, along with offspring, relatives, must be sent back. No child of an illegal immigrant belongs here either.

Same applies to H-1B visa Indians. 90% of them need to be sent back to their country and the use of these visas needs to be severely curtailed. These people are displacing qualified Americans and living in communities where they strive to remain separate. Certainly detrimental to the sense of community that people once enjoyed in their neighborhoods and schools.

Cesar Parales, president and general counsel of New York City-based LatinoJustice, said tying business registration to legal employment would burden business and, "it's a silly political stunt, I think, on the part of the politicians who can then turn to their constituents and say, 'look how tough I am on undocumented immigrants.'"
Right, enforcing the law would overburden the American bank robbers and criminals and also the task force who are paid to track them down.
So I insist that the laws are no longer carried out.

This guy must have a taco shell for a brain.
