Who said it needed to be white? English speaking absolutly.
We have no problem filling the jobs in my area. Perhaps we need to prosecute any and ALL employers of illegals. We should also prosecute landlords and anyone else providing shelter to illegals. That would include those churches that make themselves a sanctuary site.

Pay proper wages and you will have legal people working for you regardless of race/ethnicity.

Otherwise: said employer can go right out of business------------the hell with that criminal.

I bet the number of people living in the U.S who speak little to no English would at the very least equal the number of people who live in New York City, and that is a very scary thought.

Regarding your inability to hire good people and keep them........maybe it is you as the boss. Ever consider that?????

I on the other hand have two hundred employees and have a turn over rate of less than 5% a year. And I dont hire illegals, and I do hire citizens and the work habit is excellent.

Maybe your wages are just to low and that is what keeps your employee pool so bad. Raise your wages. Wait you cant cause then you couldn't cause it wouldn't allow you to continue YOUR life style...........did I get that right???
Let me add, for the sake of fairness, that I've also been hiring retired people with very good experience, and let me also say that I pay at least
50 cents more per hour than the average for the region, if we don't get certain efficiency our enterprise will not prosper. When it comes to hispanics, I would say that both documented and documented are generally great employees.

I was totally shocked over how many non-English speaking people were in Orlando when I moved here a few months ago. The hotel maid didn't even know what the word 'towel' meant. I decided to learn Spanish instead. It has made life a whole lot easier and it doesn't bug me so much anymore.

So you admit to using illegals. You sir are part of the problem. I can only hope that ICE knocks on your door and relieves you of all of your ill begotten gains.

Anybody who knowingly hires an illegal is a de facto traitor and needs to be dealt with accordingly under the law.

10 - 15 years ago I flew into Chicago's O'hare Airport on business. When I went to retrieve my luggage, a security guard I guess was wanting to compare my claim stubs with the tags (I guess that is what he was wanting) on my bags. Only problem was he didn't speak English.

I just walked past him saying I had no idea what he was saying and kept going.

I'm also annoyed every time I call many companies. This is America, why in hell should I have to press 1 to speak our language

Many of the people I've hired are virtually illiterate, with very poor work ethics, no motivation, no pride, some will spend most of the time either complaining or smoking, the few good ones, realize that they do most of the work for the same pay and become rebelious, I've hired, however, a few hispanics with excellent results.
I'm 50 and have worked for more decades than most. What you are saying is absolutely true! The general rule of thumb is that Latino's are excellent employees with a great attitude and work ethic. They seem to appreciate their jobs more than their white/black counterparts. I don't know why this is the case, but more times than not, it is.

It is a misnomer that the only reason they have their jobs is because they will work for cheap. Many times they simply have a job because they are better workers.

(No...I am not Latino.)

Obviously you will say anything to support denying legals work in favor of illegals. I work in a factory that employs nearly 3000 legal citizens. We are one of P&G's most productive plants. So either P&G mehoopany is a freak of nature or you are full of your own fecal matter. By the way I am 45. Grew up on a dairy farm. Yes that means I started working before I hit the teens. No we didn't hire illegals, hispanics, or any other immigrants. I can't say all dairy farms or all small dairy farms don't but I will say that most do not use illegal workers.
The fact that many illegals are good workers is entirely irrelevant. They are illegal and have no right to work here, live here or benefit from our society. The fact that some scumbags do like to hire them is only proof of one thing. That those employers are in fact scum bags who need to spend some time in prison.
