Open all borders to anyone who wants to come here. Conversely, all foreign countries open their borders to US Ex-Pats.

Not realistic at all.

Otherwise we would be flooded by probably billions of people.

Better we revert to our pre 1965 immigration law here-------and, enforce it.

At this time our economy is in the red. We as a nation simply can not afford the cost of absorbing millions of additional people with no real ability to support themselves. Which would be the case if we opened the borders.
Add to that the burden of supplying bi-lingual teachers everywhere that they will be needed.
Add to that the expence of healthcare.
Add to that the number of legals who will lose their jobs in favor of cheaper labor.
Open borders also allow the criminal element to enter also. Open borders equals no control of who eneters.
Are these big enough concerns for you?

Common sense tells me the have nots would overwhelm the haves. Not a good policy in a unequal world culture.
