Change is coming to Immigration!
Ok, listen up people. The Immigration forum has become the most dreaded place on city-data, partially because some people wouldn't want to touch the issues discussed here with a 10 foot long pole, partially because of the language being used here.
Since we cannot do anything about the controversial nature of the immigration/illegal immigration problem, we will try to work on the language.
So listen now, and listen good:
No more name calling.
Referring to groups of people as "maggots", "cockroaches" and the like will not be tolerated.
Leave moderating to the mods - labeling someone as a troll just because you disagree stops now. Telling someone to stop posting because they will be banned stops now.
And to those that feel quite safe and comfy here - this goes to both sides of the issue!
Now please, as the thread title suggests: discuss things rationally. Stop being so emotional. Build bridges instead of burning them. Agree to disagree. Act like sensible adults.
