Is that the "no child left behind" act?

I sort of figured that was the case. In light of the horrendous budget shortfalls and educational failures many states are incurring as a result of illegal alien tax draining and overcrowding of school, I am hoping that the recent occurrences that forced Maryland to realize the "error of their ways", might convince them to pursue a legal avenue to defeat the outdated constitutional mandate.

Nope, that law was made back in the 70s or 80s by the supreme court as a result of a case from, ironically, California.

No, it's Pyler vs. Doe, a Supreme Court ruling.

It's long past time for that outdated mandate to be challenged in a court of law.

I couldn't agree more. Why should the taxpayers of this country be forced to pay for the education of illegal aliens? They even have the audacity to commute daily from Mexico to attend our schools.

That county or any other county for that matter. There is no basis for educating the children of millions in this country illegally. It's past time for America's tax dollars to be used to take care of Americans. In light of the fact that we send billions in foreign aid annually there should be no exceptions.
