Yeah, because for some people, the battle isn't just immigration or amnesty. The battle is over extinguishing the presence of Latino culture. They want all Latinos to be hidden and robbed of their culture and identity. A good Latino is one who denies any ethnicity.

That battle is definitely lost.

The war is over.............the pro illegals have lost--------due in large part to our growing recession which is forcing more and more illegal aliens out of here.

As for certain aspects of 'Latino' or more specifically 'Mexican' culture--------we are incorporating many parts of it into American culture

Illegal immigration is always going to happen. Always. We can only hope to slow it down and keep it checked.

What do you think we have to gain from illegal immigration if we're on the other side of "the war"?
