Public officials continue to rail against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich after his arrest on federal corruption charges.
But some Illinois residents say they’re feeling conflicted.
“He’s undertaken quite a number of initiatives designed to benefit [illegal alien] immigrants in our state,” says Fred Tsao, policy director of the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. “Being the son of a Serbian immigrant himself, he definitely understood immigration on a very deep and personal level.”
On Chicago’s West Side,
retired factory worker Jacinto Peña says he’d be sad to see Blagojevich go. Peña says he appreciates the governor’s support of free transit for seniors. “What he did for the old people? I love that man. He’s a good man.”
Peña also credits the governor for expanding [illegal alien] children’s access to [taxpayer-paid] health care.

Daley and Blago have done nothing but taxed us to death in order to pay for the upkeep of their illegal alien sanctuary and it's thousands of anchor babies. I suppose those who are here illegally, do NOT pay taxes and are receiving tax payer funded freebies would consider him a "good man".
Wow .. just wow.
