I also live in Northern Virginia and see everything you mentioned. One thing that can also be mentioned in the DC area is what illegal immigration did to places like Hyattsville, Riverdale, Mt. Rainier, Bladensburg, and other inner-beltway areas bordering NE DC. These areas were mostly black working class areas which did have issues with crime but weren't the worst places to live. Illegals started moving into these areas, now they are now pretty much no-go places for the most part. I can't even begin to tell ya'll about Langley Park.
And as you know: I too am a Wash DC native but left 30 years ago.
Back then we had 'Hispanics' but they were mostly legal I suspect if not US citizens. Too; they as a group made damn sure to 'fly under the radar' as well---------we had none of that 'La Raza' crap then (1970's) outside of maybe the Puerto Ricans (all of whom are US citizens anyway).
Said it before and I'll say it again.
Hispanics are in the limelight by their own choosing.... Add to that the fact that hispanics constitute the vast majority of offenders. The fact that Mexico is our neighbor is not relevent to the fact that Hispanics account for over 58% of all illegals. That means hispanics rate over 58% of the wrath.
The other groups are less vocal and try to go unnoticed. This does not make them better or more welcome. It makes them a harder target.
Add to the mix that we as a nation cater to hispanic speakers and not to others is another factor.
Ever hear a recording press 1 for english 2 for spanish 3 for mandarin 4 for Thai 5 for Russian etc? I thought not.
If hispanics want to stand tall in america's eyes start publicly condemning illegals and stop facilitating, supporting and hiding them. But most of all stop making excuses for them.
So i'm guessing hispanics are not part of this america you are talking about? I would love to know what groups consist of this "america" you are talking about.
He has a good point. Americans cut off our ties to England a long time ago. If Anglos from Europe were coming here illegally I wonder if they would have the support of other Anglos like Mexicans get from Latino Americans here? I don't think it would be even close, especially if they were draining our social network of services meant for Americans.
Heres a question I have for all anti illegals answer truthfully please.

I think those of your ethnicity would be in a better position to answer your questions. After all, LaRaza, Maldef, LuLac, and every other racist latino organization and the majority of anchor babies/latinos masquerading as US government officials, who treasonously and perpetually speak as though legal or illegal you are a monolithic group. Additionally, I witnessed plenty of Americans of mexican/latino descent marching along side illegal aliens during those repulsive, self-incriminating marches. As a matter of fact, many latinos refused to vote for any presidential candidate that would not promise amnesty for their illegal alien friends and family members and those of their raza.
If you're looking for someone to blame, you need to start with the ethnocentric race based hate groups, those who frequently post in defense of illegal aliens on this board and those here legally of your raza who are demanding amnesty based soley on sharing a race/ethnicity.

Noteworthy, not because this is the first time he’s said something this vile but because it’s not. He floated it to our favorite liberal in February during an interview on Fox News radio (and, sad to say, wasn’t called on it) and thought so highly of his bon mot that he recycled it for his new book. Either no one’s taken him aside to explain how disgusting it is or someone has taken him aside but he thinks it’s so important and righteous that he’s going to keep deploying it anyway. I don’t know which is worse. Bear in mind, though, that even demagogues on the order of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton tend to shy away from rhetoric in this vein when applied to simple voting preferences. He’s actually out-race-baiting professional race-baiters.
I have previously written in His Panic, Why Americans Fear Hispanics in the U.S. that, “any Latino who votes for a Republican or a Democrat who opposes rational immigration reform is an Uncle Tom.” In view of the pending Puerto Rico Democratic primary and the island commonwealth’s rare opportunity to explain itself and amplify the growing importance in the larger nation’s future of the Latino vote; it is time to say to all three candidates that our votes will go to the presidential aspirant who has the courage to defy the mob and call for an immediate cessation of ICE’s draconian workplace campaign. Leaving a trail of broken hearts and disrupted communities is not the way to fix America’s broken immigration system.

First of all I am not looking for someone to blame but it appears that you are.Second i ask a simple question and in response got a Palin response(vague and off subject)
Third those marches were not suported by many legal citizens but people like you that cannot figure out if the are againts illegals or hispanics made many of them change there positions seeing that you guys did not know the difference between illegals and hispanics so now they support legislature that would give all illegals legal status so that you canot hate on latinos and hide behide the "im againts illegals" crap.
So now can you please answer my question on how you differentiate between illegals and hispanic?

I can most every time, just as I can tell the difference between a person of Germn backgound and a German for Germany, and Chinese-American from a Chinese peson from Hong Kong, etc. for instance.
Mexican-Americans are United States citizens and know they are (or did until this 'immigration' thing came up) amd act like it.
But then I am not anti-illegal per se (thousgh I think the illegal immigrants caught should be sent home without any additional S&m unless they were caught committing crimes) but think those United States citizens knowingly hiring and exploiting them need some jail time, major fines, and any other things needed to induce them to respect the laws they hold in contempt.

By the time you factor in ID theft, etc.--------most illegal aliens age 18 or over are indeed criminals.

I have been on this forum for about a year now. I joined in order to understand both sides of this debate. There are times when the posts get so ridiculous and off base I just have to walk away and not read or post for weeks even months at a time. I fear you will never get your answer unless it was posted at some time in the past when I was not active on here. If you get an answer send it to me!
