And why is that? Because they work for dirt wages or they live off welfare handouts. They aren't finishing school, they aren't learning job skills, they aren't trying to learn English or hold off on having children until they are finished with school, have a job and are married.

It comes down to the fact that most illegals can't make it in their own country for the same reason they can't make it here, they couldn't make anything of themselves where they could speak the language and knew the culture. They come here and refuse to learn our language and culture and so it's no surprise that they have to turn to housing projects.

There is no good reason at all that we are importing so much poverty on such a massive scale.

Default 200,000 war veterans homeless in US

300,000 Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans file disability claims with US federal government.

PACIFICA – For six years of war in Iraq, the Bush administration has done absolutely nothing to take care of the hundreds of thousands of wounded veterans coming home, said Aaron Glantz, a journalist who has been covering the stories of US military vets returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

"We’ve had people brought into the VA, turned away, who have committed suicide after coming back from the war with post-traumatic stress disorder. We’ve had people redeployed to Iraq, even after they were diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. We have 300,000 Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans coming home with traumatic brain injury, physical brain damage. We have 300,000 Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans who have filed disability claims with the federal government," Glantz told Democracy Now! on Thursday.

"In many cases, there is no medical services at all, because remember that many people serving in Iraq and Afghanistan come from rural communities where the VA doesn’t even have a hospital," he explained.

There are 200,000 homeless war veterans in the United States.

"On every night, 200,000 people who have put on the uniform and served this country sleep homeless on the streets," said Glantz.

This is absolutely breath taking. We are paying tax dollars to house and provide medical care for illegal aliens and their offspring who have done nothing except rape and pillage this country and our men and women who risked their lives for this country are not receiving medical care and are living in the streets

How can anyone justify this? This is infuriating. First, they divert Medicare benefits for our elderly to ingrate illegal aliens; now this!

I know. The story brought tears to my eyes. Those who have given so much receive so little. Yet, those who have given NOTHING continue to demand and receive what they are not entitled to.

My parents have rental property and some people wanted to rent this rental who seemed to be illegal. They asked them for proof of citizenship and they had proof. They had SS Cards anyway, their kids (born in the US) had the same names as the parents. My parents made it clear that no one else was to live in the house except the renters that were on the lease.

Well, they had many illegals living with them in a matter of months with undocumented vehicles parked in the driveway. My parents tried to evict them and couldn't for legal maters, (they had small children and no proof they were illegal). The law states it is illegal to harbour illegal aliens but you can't evict them either. I am so confused.

They moved out soon after.

Must have been California.

Here in Arizona; US citizens get evicted all the time so that the children are citizens excuse would not apply here.

A lot of people are leaving California in general because they are realizing their money goes a lot further in other places.

As Black population decreases in LA, it jumped in the Inland Empire, Palmdale, desert cities.

It has nothing to do with 0.4 percent of people living in housing possibly being illegal.

It just happens that Latinos are moving into the inexpensive neighborhoods.
Do you have any data to back this up? Any proof?

In the Third World, (and under the terms of its culture), there's ZERO concept of 'The Government' being made up of 'us'....it just doesn't register. There, 'The Government' is a remote, unfeeling, poorly-understood system of rules and onerous, burdensome regulations put in place by 'someone else', for the sole purpose of controlling 'us', keeping 'us' in check, and 'shaking us down' for money.

In such an environment, any 'good' thing or benefit coming from 'The System' isn't seen as 'costing' anything....it's just seen as a 'windfall'. little different from winning the lottery. You take your 'perks' as they come, for life is tough, and you don't worry about any moral dimension connected with 'taking', because what you're 'taking' is just something that's 'meant to be taken' (If they didn't 'want you to take it', they'd STOP you..right?).

In the Third World, there's no connection felt between 'The Government' and 'the people'.....except as natural adversaries.

You have touched the very core of all that is wrong with 3rd world cultures and countries. It has been proven that the majority of those who are granted amnesty/citizenship in this country are not capable of assimilating and respecting American rule of law or culture. It is also an intricate explanation as to why it is not healthy for America to take in vast numbers of those from said cultures and countries who come here illegally and demand to be rewarded with amnesty.

Therein lies the problem. Beautifully stated.
