...according to Joel Kotkin in an article in "The American", due to Texas having a better economy and being more affordable. In that article - which is not online - Kotkin cited more illegals going to Texas than California as a further sign of California's current crisis making it an unattractive place to many.

Some people haven't figured out that illegals want the same things many of you do, and will go wherever they can get those things - thus YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY....

Illegal Alien Sex Fiends

Media Monitor | By Andy Selepak | January 16, 2007

If ever there was an argument for building a border fence, this is it.

There are approximately 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States. This staggering statistic, rarely mentioned by the media, was revealed in a study by Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. "It is clear," she says, "that the U.S. public faces a dangerous threat from sex predators who cross the U.S. borders illegally." What's more, she adds, "Then they gradually commit worse crimes and are continually released back into society or deported. Those who were deported simply returned illegally again."
If ever there was an argument for building a border fence, this is it. But other than two stories on WorldNetDaily, generated by an appearance on CNN, we haven't found any coverage of these extraordinary statistics.
Yet, as reported by Wes Vernon in a new AIM Report, the Bush Administration is embarked on a controversial and secretive plan to effectively erase U.S. borders and establish a North American Union to facilitate the flow of people and goods from Mexico into the U.S.

Tijuana Crime Rate Up 300% As Mexico Gets Its Illegal Alien Criminals Back

By Digger
The Mayor of Kurt Honald, never made a peep when it came to the amount of crime that Mexican illegal aliens committed in the United States, but now his city by the border is experiencing a concentrated taste of what has been occurring here for years though more spread out. With deportations of illegal aliens from
only slightly up this year from their minuscule numbers over the past decades, Mexico is already crying in their soup at receiving their criminals back that they encouraged to head north.
Tijuana's petty crime rate is up 300% and as usual it is all America's fault. The moral of this story is that Mexico needs to fix itself and also, don't go to Tijuana.

Mexican Drug Cartel Infiltration Of United States [Maps,Pics]

By Digger
Some would say that our country has not been invaded, but as you can see in the maps below our cities across this country have been invaded by the Mexican Drug Cartels. Mexican Drug Trafficking Operations (DTO's) bring with them a host of other problems from gangs to people smuggling to corruption in government and law enforcement.

But: despite the best treasonous efforts of both the do-gooders and Neo-Cons---------more and more Americans are turning against the illegal aliens.

You mean whereever they don't have to become responsible and make good things for their own country.

All these people do is run at the first hint of problems. Instead of helping their own country, staying there and working to make it better, they just take the easy route. If California gives them more, they go to California, but if benefits start getting cut off in California, Texas is certainly a very generous state when it comes to handouts.

Back in the 80's (I think) there was this party shirt with the phrase 'I'm just here for the beer' emblazoned across the front. This implied that the person wearing the shirt was only at the party to drink the free beer. They were not going to help set up for the party beforehand or bring a bowl of chips and dip or mingle with the other guests and make polite small talk, they certainly were not going to stick around to help clean up afterwards. They were going to guzzle as much free beer as possible and when the supply ran low, they would have no scruples about heading off in search of a new party where they could mooch more Budweiser.
This has always reminded me of the illegal aliens- they're just here for the beer (ie, the freebies). The keg is getting low in CA so they will pack up and head for TX en masse where there is still plenty of free beer to be had.

Yes, I compare these people to those of the Civil Rights era -- when brave men like Martin Luther King saw injustice and poverty but did not pack up and sneak illegally into other countries to demand rights in those countries. Instead they put their lives on the line, they fought and worked for justice in their own country, worked to make things better, change the culture, change hearts here.

They didn't pack up and run and leave things worse for those they left behind. That's what we see the illegals doing. Instead of working for positive change, they abandon their own country. They come to get in on what someone else has built. When they've used it up, they'll simply pack up and move to where they can cash in on something else.

Meanwhile the people in the villages and towns they've left are facing worse unemployment, worsening conditions. With illegals, it's every man for himself, no one wishes to make a positive change or push for reform, work to better their own communities back home.

Now that you bring it up: the screaming and pathetic attempts at 'race-baiting' by the pro illegal alien fans seem to becoming louder in tandem with the border fortifications becoming more and more effective.

As for those whining do-gooders and their complaints about many illegals dying in the hot Arizona sun due to the latter's attempts to make an end run around the (formerly) easy crossing points--------------oh well. Maybe if those criminals obeyed US law they would still be alive today.

The fence and serious Jail time type penalties for employers.
Even Better, do what they do with Drug Dealers confiscate the assets and sell it. Wow that would be awesome. Think of a major home builder getting busted! I.E. Perry Homes in Texas...The Billionaire owner Bob Perry assets sure would help pay for a lot of deportations and Border fence. You have to go after what employers of these illegals fear most losing all their wealth that they gained by hiring illegal labor to increase their margins.
