S.9—Stronger Economy, Stronger Borders Act of 2009. Seems to be a placeholder for comprehensive immigration reform, including stronger border and employment security to crackdown on illegal immigration while “reforming and rationalizing avenues for legal immigration.”

Our "do nothing" Congress will not disappoint us. They will continue to do absolutely nothing.

I tell you what, if they even think about joining their collective 2 brain cells to compose another amnesty bill they are going to wish they had already died and gone to hell.

Personally, I'd rather be sitting in a stalled out car than one driving wildly towards the edge of a cliff.

If this is really a "do-nothing" Congress, I'd be just fine with that, thanks.

Not if the stalled car is on fire, and your seat belt is jammed. Had these inept crooks enforced our laws, we would not have 20+ million illegal aliens sucking us dry.

I support full amnesty as long as the sponsors of the bill also provide low cost housing for immigrants in Beverly Hills, The Hamptons, and all other places where employers of third world labor reside. Let them experience firsthand all the joys of "diversity" in a borderless, globalistic society.

It should go on a ballot and every person that votes for an open border should be levied an annual tax so that THEY can be part of the group that supports these people. That way law abiding Americans will get some relief from the horde.

Tax payers should be able to enter an ER room without an 8 hour delay to be seen.

So pro-illegals, get out your wallets.

Those illegals that are participating in criminal activity (includes even welfare fraud) will not stop even if they get amnesty. It is what they know. Scamming the system will continue as a way of earning a living. Those that cry for an "educational opportunity" are trying to fool us. Educational opportunities are abundant (evening courses in high school, etc.) There are free vocational & educational opportunities available to them in California and other states. Their children want a reduced tuition in the State of California. It is BS. It is a parasitic situation that is going to get even worse if the laws are not enforced.

Great post, excellent ideas. If they want cheap illegal alien, non-assimilating/English speaking: child molestors, rapists, thieves, drug peddalers, identity thieves and massive population breeders working for them, let them foot the financial depletion that accompanies their hearts' desires.

Frankly, I'm sick of footing the bill.

It's pretty maddening, on a post about how to start jobs with Obama's stimulus package I made a post that they need to ensure the use of E-verify and the post got removed. Every single daily event in the lives of US citizens that live near the border are impacted by Illegal Aliens yet some think we are to turn a blind eye and just let it happen. It's madness.
