Meanwhile, Chief Aguilar obviously bought into the madness and is now being richly rewarded by the administration for his loyalty to an administration that will leave behind a legacy of ineptitude, incompetence and arguably worse, where the security of our nation' borders and the creation of an immigration system that his integrity is concerned.

Even as Mr. Aguilar contemplates how to spend his huge $61,200.00 bonus, Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean and their families must wonder how they will get through the next decade as those two valiant agents languish in solitary confinement in federal prison for carrying out their sworn duties!

Didn't read the article, but I agree with the thread...Bush DID, consistently and repeatedly, fail to do ANYTHING about the border, and actively derailed all efforts to do so on the part of others.

But heck, Bush probably did this because he's a "nice guy", right? And NOW, look how grateful people are...look at the man's popularity. People won't forget him, and how he went 'out on a limb' to help them.....(will they ?)....

We both know better. Bush promised his friends in the drug cartels, Vicente Fox, LaRaza, the corporate crooks and his family members that the NAU treaty was a done deal. He was merely attempting to live up to his promise of open borders and free flowing illegals, drugs, crime and corruption. Fortunately, for America he failed miserably.

The disturbing ties of some of George W. Bush’s Latino advisors

“Dime con quién andas y te diré quién eres.
Tell me who you side with and I will tell you who you are.”

Those who say that George W. Bush has scant knowledge of foreign affairs don’t understand his family’s relationship with Mexico.

If one event could be said to make that relationship visible, it had to be the state dinner given eleven years ago by President Bush for Mexico’s president, Carlos Salinas. This group was to become W’s Mexican legacy, a gift of ties and connections passed on from the father to his son.

MATT.Org has an interesting cast of characters masquerading as Board of Directors, many of whom have long time drug cartel connections as well.

After eight years of Bush with his joke of a Patriot Act (yet our southern border was essentially left open): I am willing to give Obama a shot. If he messes up---------there is always 2012

Note I am a registered Republican...........but in the Theodore Roosevelt vein.
