Although i respect the argument that they aren't paying their taxes and that they're stealing, i still can't help but wonder why people complain so much about illegal immigrants when they do the work that citizens in America are too lazy to do. Take that as being racist, but it's the truth. Without these workers, who would take over their jobs in construction and all the other hard labor jobs they have taken over? Face it, we rely heavily on the work of these people and the fact that they are not here legally bugs us? I would love to see Americans last a Month without the labor of illegal immigrants. And don't even get me started on their pay!

That argument has been blown to smithereens. The real reason that some employers like illegals is because they are willing to work for dirt wages---------and said employers do not pay workman's comp, etc.

Trust me: the 'jobs that Americans won't do' are looking very good to unemployed Americans------------illegal aliens need not apply.

Please do not get me started on fantasing on a month without illegals.

Without those workers, we could make a massive dent in our rising unemployment and raise the wages of blue-collar trades. Americans are not too lazy, we are just smart enough not to work for slave wages. (We've been over this MANY times)

20 years ago Americans did those jobs and the US was just fine. A buddy of mine would take one of those painting jobs in a heart beat and he's an unemployed Computer guy. He's been forced to hit the Home Depot parking lot where the direct competition are Illegals undercutting what his asking price is.
I have no idea how he's making his mortgage.

Bank robbers have VERY few 'supporters', hardly EVER bring their extended families with them, and when they ARE caught, they go to prison. The damage a bank robber does is usually a definite, short-term problem, easily measured in 'dollars and cents'.

Bank robbers don't overload emergency rooms, and don't agitate for their "rights". Almost all Americans are united in 'castigating' bank robbers...they're almost universally regarded as a 'bad thing'...EVEN those bank robbers that are "nice" people, or who steal just a "little bit" of money from a "great big"
bank...EVEN if they rob banks to 'feed their families'. There are virtually NO "pro-bank robber" websites, and NO discussion of the "pros and cons" of bank robbing...
