My point was that yes the homeowner should secure his property but that does not absolve the thief from his crime. Why do you not want to blame the thief at all? Just because I can grab something unguarded doesn't absolve me of theft.

We have no open border "policy" we have immigation laws.

So what? Such is life. Deal with it. I owe a bunch of illegal aliens AKA criminals nothing. They need to be not only deported but have their assets seized by LE as well.
