It's about time! Bush "pardons" and commutes the sentences of a bunch of dirtbags, and these two guys languish until the end! Hey George, don't let the back door hit you in the ass on the way out of town! Notice that Dubya "commuted" the sentences to time served, so the conviction still stands, what a guy! I hope that I'm still alive when Dubya takes his eternal dirt nap, so that I can p*** on his grave!

I am, frankly shocked.

I really expected Bush to continue to be a d*ck until the very end.

It should have been a pardon, but I'm grateful for anything which reunites these two heroes with their families.

Apparently Bush believed their trial was fair and just but decided they had done enough time. Still, it's great these heroes have been released and anyone that has emailed or contacted the white house can feel good about themselves.

No the Irony is that they shot a drug smuggler and you pro illegal types still think of him as the victim.

I understand why this may be a difficult concept for some.. We are for amnesty when it is deserved and against it when it is not. (ie hordes of foreigners wanting the rights and privileges of American citizens).

I suppose you would have kept these two heroes in jail?

Why were they in jail if they were heroes?

They tried to cover it up and lied about the events that happened. That is why they were tried in court by a jury and sent to jail. Their appeal was turned down how many times? Yet the so called "anti-illegal" crowd claim their innocent.

OH they are guilty. Guilty of being a lousy shot. Guilty of not taking out the trash. The man is a drug smuggler. He deserves what ever happens to him and he should be glad it wasn't me. I would have center punched him and done it right. He is no victim. How can a criminal be a victim when they are shot while doing a crime?
