How correct you are in your assessment. The hammer is getting louder and falling harder indiscriminately all over the US. Whether they accept it or not their party is over.

That would be a colossal mistake, and would only fan the flames of anti-illegal sentiment. Furthermore, how can California even entertain the thought of giving more tax-funded benefits to illegal aliens given their financial problems? I can’t imagine too many legal residents of California embracing in-state tuition for illegals, while they are being issued IOUs for their tax refunds. washingtonpost.com

Can you offer one cogent justification for illegal aliens being entitled to ANYTHING from the taxpayers of this country?

Great post, too bad your words of wisdom will fall upon deaf ears.

NO... absolutely not. But why would'nt they come? They are given free health care, their children who are born here are given rights and citizenship, welfare, goverment assisted living... etc...on and on... blah.. blah.. blah. Did you know that as long as you are half Mexican and born in this country, you have access to grants and scholarships that will pay half your college tuition? Just for being Mexican? I am sure that they don't have anything like that for our kids.. They actually have to work for the scholarships that they get. It is discraceful.

Don't count us out either. We too are fed up with the arrogance, insolence and their adamant refusal to leave. We fought bled and died to reserve our place at America's table. We certainly aren't going to give a bunch of illegal alien squatters our children's seats.

It’s hard to believe our government has facilitated this travesty. . . and made us foot the bill. We have been the unwitting benefactors of a monumental illegal alien bailout. As usual, the middle-class gets screwed; while the corporate elite, special interest groups, and the Mexican government reap the fruits of our labor. Disgraceful, indeed!

'Gringo' is an equal opportunity ethnic slur that us Americans have made our own!

Better a Gringo than a damn illegal alien.

With all the financial cuts in the California budget, welfare and the schools are going to suffer. Many programs will be cut. I feel for the deserving, legitimately disabled but not for the illegals.
I have personally witnessed the effects of illegals' on local economy and the environment. I would not wish it on anyone. "Better way of life," no way did they want a better way of life; they are destroying a way of life for Americans.
