This does bring an interesting side to the argument though.

Yes, yes we have all heard that illegals just want to work, they are already here so why not just amnesty the bunch of them.

The answer is no and this is a prime example of why mass amnesty and open borders are a huge mistake. Do you think any of those guys would have been allowed to legally immigrate to the US? No, I bet they wouldn't have made it past the first round. The US does not need more criminals, more violent young men with no education and no desire to get one. Why should we import more? And with open borders and mass amnesty we have to wonder....just who the hell are we granting citizenship to? We don't know. It is more then just a safe guess to say that a large percentage of illegals are just like these guys - violent, stupid and uneducated.

SAN DIEGO – Forty-seven fugitives suspected in crimes including attempted murder, robbery, burglary and fraud were arrested last week at the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa ports of entry, federal officials said Tuesday.

The arrests were made by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers during routine border-enforcement operations from May 17 through Saturday, said Angelica De Cima, a CBP spokeswoman.

The fugitives were wanted on local, state or federal felony warrants, De Cima said.

Among those arrested was a 24-year-old man wanted on suspicion of attempted murder by the Monterey County Sheriff's Office. He came through the Otay Mesa border station Wednesday afternoon, De Cima said.

Authorities also arrested 16 people on suspicion of immigration-law violations during the seven-day period, the spokeswoman said. Eight people were charged with alien smuggling, and eight others with criminal backgrounds were arrested on suspicion of trying to re-enter the country after being deported, De Cima said.

They are just here for a better life, remember. To say anything otherwise is xenophobic.

Well I don't see a need to insult animals like that -- you don't see animals fighting over drugs.

The truth is, a lot of the drug trafficking types of illegals end up "tasting" their product and get addicted. Many drugs sold in the USA are sold to illegals, there is no Mexican gene that protects someone from the effects of addiction, many claim that only Americans are susceptible to drugs and that addiction is an American problem.

The other truth is, many illegals are not here to work hard at all. Obviously this bunch isn't. So how much did all that cost the taxpayers?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

It would be interesting to see what the make up of these people are. Are they illegals, or resident aliens, or US citizens?
