I think this will spill over and I feel badly for those living so close to the fire. I also feel badly for the school kids having to live with such violence. The president of Mexico needs to send more troops to these towns and start getting tougher. We also need troops on our borders to keep safe our citizens. I told my husband 10 years ago we will be fighting this battle on our border and I was only surprised it took so long.
True. American citizens should not have to pay with personal security because our borders remain un protected. We have no idea who is coming over here with all of the illegal alien traffic.

From what I understand, that when calculating the figures, the American and illegal alien benefits, the two are separated when calculated. If you're talking about Welfare benefits, the legal American child born to two illegal alien parents. It's usually lumped into one number because the parents are illegal aliens and they receive the benefits on behalf of the U.S. citizen child, the Anchor Baby. The government doesn't feel it's enough to provide for the child only so, they provide for the entire family whether they're legal or not.
Please take note while our government is aiding illegal aliens with benefits meant to be for our American citizens. They're cutting benefits to American citizens to be able to afford the extra burden of illegal aliens using benefits, i.e. welfare, WIC, public housing, food stamps, medicare, social security, school funding, college tuition's etc. From what I understand the illegal aliens can even get unemployment.

I'd like to contribute my 2 cents to this thread since, I was a victim of a crime committed by illegal Mexicans. Although the crime committed against me is nothing in comparision of others who have lost family members or had violent crimes against them due to these illegals.
OK, I only had my truck stolen. It was taken to Mexico to transport more illegals into this country. My truck was stolen around 11AM (caught on video) and crossed into Mexico at 5:30PM the same day. The truck was stopped on re-entry at 8PM (same day) at a south Texas (Eagle Pass) checkpoint. The illegals ran the checkpoint and the authorities pursued chase. High speed chase resulted in my truck leaving the highway and going off road into a south Texas ranch. Truck was wrecked and illegals bailed and made a run for it. As far as I know they were never caught. Ranch owner calls me at home at 10PM same day and states my truck is on his ranch. He also stated he finds 3-4 abandoned vehicles a week on his land. Truck was trashed, but not totaled. Final insurance cost was around 12 grand. I was without the truck for a month.
I have provided some interesting history on a plan that was implemented back in the 50's to remove illeagals. Maybe it's about time it's reinstated.

The "Coyote" (human smuggler), won't let his payload get caught, he doesn't get paid without delivering live bodies to America. He'll hide the illegal aliens from the Border Patrol and at this point it becomes survival of the fittest.
The Coyote carries the only weapons and will eventually pick off the weakest illegal aliens and steal their food and water supplies so, that he and the others can continue. In his eyes he only cares about the money and doesn't want to get caught himself. Many times they'll also, be transporting drugs and a lost of a drug load could mean that the Coyotes family in Mexico will be slaughtered by the Drug Lords.
