I don't think that a fence is going to cut it. There will always be a way over it, under it, around it, or through it. I think that we need to stop all immigration whether it's legal or not until we get a handle on the situation.

American Patrol Report

Here we go again, mass confusion and obfuscation on the border. On October 26 last year, nearly six months ago, President Bush signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006. The SFA was approved by a yes vote of 67% of the House of Representatives and 81% of the Senate. This is not trivial.
Quote:
Nearly six months have passed since the SFA was signed by the President. How much of the two-layered fence has been built? None.

No it has not. And why is Bush spending so much time in Mexico? The Presidente of Mexico told Bush that the Americans had a big drug appetite! So he is blaming the Mexicans bringing in drugs on the Americans. Build that fence! Now.

If you really want a change, this may help! Go and sign up to let our representatives and President know what we the people want!
Lets do something! Stand up for what is right, it is time. Take on the responsibility for our future, before it is too late.

Whoa, take it down a few notches.

No one's stopping you from ceaselessly signing the lowsy petition, but it's frankly a waste of time because Congress already approved The Secure Fence Act of 2006, which includes authorizing construction and allotting funding for more border patrol agents and upgrades for detention facilities.

But do continue to sign the petition to erect an already approved border fence.

It is in hope that they will build it sooner, rather than later. If they build at all. What can it hurt? This will help let the powers that be know that we want it now.

Lol our present Administration has no intention of doing anything of the sort.
They were building high towers here so they could monitor anything in the desert, haven't heard much about that anymore, other than the citizens around it complaining because they felt it was an invasion of their rights.

Invisible fencing:

from another thread:

""ANY owner of a company that harbors illegals should be deported to the country the illegals came from....stripped of all profits , of course

If their love for immigrants is so strong(I'm sure they're hiring them out of the goodness of their hearts )..they should be very happy to help them in their OWN country.

End of illegals.""
