That man has to feel like he is on an Island as no agenciy will listen to him. Can you imagine having that parade of criminals waltzing through your back yard 24/7?

He held them at gunpoint and caused them distress. He's guilty.

Under common law (we got that from youse guys)
He HAD a right to arrest, detain, hold, until lawful authority arrived to take them into custody.

See, here in Amerika it used to be called "citizen arrest"

I am actually surprised that Arizona would have allowed such a travesty of justice.

We can also detain people here with citizen arrest, but without a gun.

In some states he'd have the right to just shoot them.

How would you feel if someone was in your home illegally? I think you would change your tune very quickly.

This is the USA------------where we still have some rights.

Besides: the UK has a problem with extremist Muslims-----------which are a slap in the face of the secular practitioners of Islam.

I'm afraid you are talking to a citizen from a country where having a gun is an arrestable offence. Here, we have to use "reasonable force". If I broke a burgulars arm in my own home, I would get prison time.

With that, I would just kill the intruder and let it send out a message. Some areas of the UK are actually under gangland protection and breaking into certain homes will be dealt with in the most harshest way possible.
